Thanks for visiting!
The Stony Plain Farmers' Market is an Alberta approved market and is the original market that was started in the Fall of 1974. The market was located at the corner of 50th street and 51st. avenue. In the late 90's the market changed locations to the Perk Building. After 4 years at that location, the market was then moved back to the Stony Plain Community Center where it is today. Management of the market is Nancy (Market Manager) Joeanne (Treasurer) and Linda (Secretary).
The market has grown now to consist of vendors on both the upper and lower levels of the community center.
You can access the market from both the side and front of the building where there are ramps for people with walkers and wheelchairs. The women's washroom is located on the upper level, while the men's is located on the lower level. The market will be accepting food bank donations every Saturday! Join us in the 50/50 draw held at 1:00 p.m. every Saturday. You do not need to be present to win. If the lucky winner isn't present, the number will be posted at the market for 4 weeks.
The canteen with food and drinks is located on the upper level as well. There is a large variety of items to choose from every Saturday. The market has approximately 70 vendors and is consistently growing.
